The Introvert Reader
I'm Rebecca, a.k.a The Introvert Reader. I am a teaching assistant by day and read (and sometimes write) by night.
As the name suggests, I am an introvert - I find social interaction tricky unless with my family or closest friends, so love having a book or two to allow me to escape every day life.
I'm also waiting for a mad man in a blue box, but then, who isn't?
Interests
among many other things:
Harry Potter - I've read the books and watched the films yearly for the last few years. I am a proud Slytherin.
Doctor Who - 10 and 11 (and technically 14) are my favourite doctors.
Friends - probably the show I have watched over and over the most times.
How I Met Your Mother - may be an unpopular opinion, but after my first watch, I thought it was better than Friends.
Reading (if it wasn't already obvious) - it truly is one of the greatest escapes from life!
Buying books - it really is its own hobby to reading!
Making jewellery, bookmarks and cards.
Photography - something I got into over the last ten years or so. I'm now resident photographer for family holidays.
Baking - self-taught cake decorating. I've made cakes and bakes for family and friends and take my hat off to anyone who does this as a business.

Go to genres to read - chick lit, romance, young adult and fantasy, or any combination of those.
I like stand alone novels as well as series, but always prefer reading a series. I just can't let go of characters sometimes and always want more to their story.
Favourite book(s) - too many to write down, but you can see a few of them on the homepage and in the above picture.
In 2017, I started giving writing a go, which again is something I've always liked doing since I was kid, but I hadn't ever gotten into properly until a few years ago. If you would like to check out my own stories, you can find me on Inkitt, Inskpired and Wattpad.
